Arizona Trip 1

We went down a little early to Arizona since Cody ended up in the hospital again for several days.  The kids were so happy to see Cody and mom return home to join the family.  Hanna is trying to help her mom with work.

Kaylynn and Justin both helped with the cooking.  They are getting real good with the foods they totally love.
                                                             Cody is chilling out

Award ceremonies from school.  Everyone came home with an award of some sort.
                                                          AWESOME :)

TIMES UP Game

Crystal was able to come home for Christmas, so was able to see the Davis clan.  She taught them the game Times Up. The house will never be the same.  Had to laugh ourselves silly with all the antics.  Great times were had by all.

Missouri Davis Visit

It was so fun to have Jason and Melissa plus our crazy grandchildren here for a short visit.
Melissa made from scratch shaving cream and lotion for us for Christmas.  Best gifts :).
Kayla got to tour CMU and meet Bro. Walker from the Institute.  Harold took them around to give Melissa and the kids a closer look at Fruita and look at some houses.
We got (actually Melissa got) robes for the kids for Christmas.
It was snowing the morning they left for Nevada, so Jason had to make a snowman for Kyle

No longer homeless

John and Pam finally got into their new home right before Christmas.  Even Pudge, the cat,  was glad.  Here is just a glimpse into the new home.  Shannon, Levi and Johhny sleep upstairs, Pam and John on main, and the other boys are down in the basement.  Everyone loves the room!

November

November became the month to refinish the bedroom downstairs.  What a project but it was greatly needed.  It makes a big difference with actual insulation in the walls. :)  Harold & I have decided that sheet rocking ceilings is not for the elderly.  Good gravy.  The room is small and real cozy.  Just glad to have another project complete.

Harold is texturing the walls.  We had no light so tried just having me hold a flashlight and he texture.  For our marriage I thought of the halogen lights in the shop.  Brought them in and presto  -lights and a saved marriage.
 Harold touching up spots
Kept paneling around closet and entry way just to keep a different look.
Room finished except putting clothes away.  YIPPEE :)

Halloween 2016

Harold got to help judge the chili in our Ward Halloween party.  Muffin tins work wonders when you have 30 different chilis to taste test.  He survived with a bottle of milk.

Ragged mountain in September

Went and spent four days on Ragged.  We toured around the mountain to see all the work that had been accomplished.  It is nice when you have equipment to work with.  We were thinking about putting in a permanent water slide but child care says we have to have treated water going down the slide.  We are leaving the slide alone.  Everyone is thoroughly enjoying it.
Cabin area around 8 and 9.  Took out alot of the brush and put the fire ring further back.
 Water slide and zipline
Containers to put things in and a roof will be built over the two so the missionaries have an area to work in.
 Bear tracks
Helicopter flying in people to go fishing
We stopped to help Gary Volk out with his dozer.
Helped Brad Swenson put in bunks, doors, and windows in new shelter.
