James Richard Davis
Grandpa Davis passed away on 10 Sept 2012. He was 97 1/2 years old. We had the graveside services on 15 Sep 2012 at Crown Point Cemetery. It was a beautiful day. Crystal drove home early to help Harold with all the arrangements since I was in AZ with Carrie. Jason also flew in early to help out.
The Davis siblings except Janet that couldn't make it in from Alaska and of course Wayne.
June, Joyce, Harold, Don, Ken, and Little Richard.
Cousins:
front to back
Kathy Doty, Karen Brennan Hagen, Tamra Davis Zobel, Jennifer Davis Hansen, Crystal, David Brennan
John, Jason, Russel Curtis, Paula Curtis Green, Steven Brennan, Joanne Brennan
Crystal gave the Life Sketch. Put this picture in also to show how the florists incorporated Grandpa's hat into the floral arrangement.
Grandpa decided that he wanted to be buried to Grandma Davis. We told him that we couldn't do that but we would make sure he was buried in Crown Point. The city only had two plots left. I took the plot in the south section trying to get Grandpa somewhere in the vicinity of Wayne and Grandma not realizing how close he would actually be. Pretty funny.
Thank you to all that helped in any way to make things easier for the family at this time of sadness but a time of rejoicing.

Justin's Baptism
We were able to travel down to Arizona to see Justin get dunked. Carrie warned us that the temperatures were extremely hot. It rained the first morning we were there and temperatures dropped to the 80's with tons of humidity. It was heaven. While we were there, we were able to help them move their food storage. I remember now why people dislike helping LDS people move.

Ready for the Big event. I was privileged to be asked to give the talk on Baptism and Grandpa was asked to be witness and stand in the circle.
Big event over and it is time to take a break :)
